The Apple Core Band will present an outdoor concert 7 p.m. tonight at the Gettysburg Rec Park amphitheater on Long Lane. The Apple Core Band is a non-profit, all volunteer community band created in 1976 to perform for our nation’s Bicentennial celebration.

Garden Notes / News of area clubs and events
Friends of Kenan Herb Garden Club and the West-ern New York Herb Study Group will take a daylong bus trip Saturday to Ithaca. Members will tour Cornell Plantations and Ithaca markets and eat lunch at Bakers’ Acres.
