I just started coyote hunting and I want to increase my odds of even seeing a coyote. I have been out a couple of times and not even seen one. I have heard them howl in the distance. Maybe a decoy will bring them in.

We are coyote trapping and the coyotes are setting off our traps and supposibly getting out. We set 6 coyote dirt hole sets and 2 were set off, 1 was uncovered, and the other 3 were not touched. What are we doing wrong that the number 2 foot traps won’t catch the coyote?
